School Systems
Study Group is where people with common interests assemble, physically or, thanks to technology, virtually to question, clarify and ultimately understand concepts, issues, ideas or practices in education. A Course in Study Groups aims at understanding the process involved in questioning and clarifying ideas. Being practitioners or researchers or just someone interested in the education process, we have our own biases and theories about education. Study Groups is where we examine them carefully and explore the possibility of accommodating other viewpoints. The debate will perhaps help us understand the complexity of the issue, if not share ways of solving them. When it comes to selecting schools for our children or debating on “What is good education?” , We weigh the pros and cons of different school systems and try to choose one that comes closest to our views on education. |
